Education/Background: Paul Pitts is a 2003 graduate of Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, where he also received a Masters in Health Administration from Tulane’s School of Public Health. While attending Tulane, Mr. Pitts served as managing editor of the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Mr. Pitts obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in 1997 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Prior to law school, Mr. Pitts was employed as a project controller by Deloitte & Touche. In this role, Mr. Pitts provided financial analysis and project management services for international management consulting projects. Since joining SSR, his practice has focused primarily on compliance matters, provider reimbursement, provider licensure and Medicare/Medicaid participation, and contractual issues. In addition to his legal organization affiliations, Mr. Pitts is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
