Education/Background: Ms. Foster graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2004, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Tulane Law Review and was awarded the Hunley Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law.  Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Foster received a Certificate in Civil Law Studies and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Foster earned a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she concentrated in the field of Medical Ethics.  She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Louisiana State University.

Prior to joining Sullivan Stolier & Resor, Ms. Foster was an associate at the New Orleans firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C.  Her current practice includes all aspects of healthcare contracting, business formation, regulatory compliance, and government healthcare program reimbursement. 

Ms. Foster has presented papers to the Tennessee Philosophical Association and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Her publications include Promoting Meaningful Rational Autonomy: A Proposal to Amend Louisiana’s Conditional Discharge Law, 78 Tul. L. Rev. 1351 (2004), and Stahl v. Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp.: Inadequate Warnings and Inadequate Protection Under the Louisiana Products Liability Act, 77 Tul. L. Rev. 803 (2003).
